-noun
The condition of being located in a particular place.

I found this word hard to understand, so here's so additional info:

-"Ubiety is generally said to be either repletive, circumscriptive, or definitive; but these terms are taken in different senses by different authors. According to the best usage, repletive ubiety is that of a body which excludes other bodies from its place by its absolute impenetrability; circumscriptive ubiety is that of any extended image which is in a place part by part without excluding other objects; definitive ubiety is connection with a portion of space, all in every part, and not part by part." --from Wordnik

-The origin of the word is the same root as "ubiquitous", i.e. "ubi", which means "where". --source: a more interesting blog post than this one at Sesquiotica.

-used in a sentence:
"Ubiety suffuses Milosz's work, though he says that `whether I wanted this to happen or not, the landscapes of California have merged with the landscapes of Lithuania.'" -- David Kipen, ABCs of Milosz -- A Life in Letters, The San Francisco
